ADAS (Audlem District Amenities Society) was formed in 1969. It now has some 500 or more members who contribute an annual fee (subscription) which funds much of the work done by ADAS within the village.
The original statements in the ADAS constitution to describe our purpose where the the area of benefit is Audlem district, were:
(A) To stimulate public interest in the area of benefit
(B) To promote high standards of planning and architecture in the area of benefit
(C) To secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historical and public interest in the area of benefit.
Committee meetings are held on the third Monday in each month except July and December. Ideas and suggestions from members of the public are welcomed and may be made to any Committee member (see contact us page). Our notice board in the centre of the village also gives all ADAS detail.
